Father's Day is today a celebration honoring father’s role in the society of fatherhood, paternal and influence of fathers in society. Almost all the countries of the world have set a day during the year to celebrate this role. The majority of countries, including the U.S. and Kenya have a father’s day celebration on the third Sunday of June. This follows Mother’s day observed during the second Sunday of May.

During the preaching, the fathers of St John Aglican Church were thanked for their role in ensuring the church continues to be a place where the Church members and Kenyans living in Worcester region worship God.
