Boniface Book Launch & Signing Sells Out Copies

“May this book inspire you to be more courageous,” wrote Boniface Mwangi, an activist and popular figure in Kenya as he signed his book titled, Unbounded. He further wrote, “Keep telling those stories. Enjoy the read.” The book was launched at PCEA Neema Church in Lowell, Boston regions. The books Boniface brought with him for the launch were sold out. He signed the book to the nightfall.

The 335 page book has the story of Boniface Mwangi mother, Wakiuru. The story of his siblings and his birth at Taita Taveta. The stories of his childhood and how he ended up in an approved school. The stories of his upbringing in the poor regions of Nairobi. His becoming a photojournalist of the Standard newspaper.  

Boniface story is written and further told through pictures as it takes one through the many events that have happened in Kenya in the last 10 years. The pictures of the 2007/2008 post-election violence remind one of the dark days. 

The stories and pictures of the, Greed M-Pigs and The Diaper Mentality Campaign, are told in a captivating way through the pictures. Occupy Langata Primary school pictures show the inspiration to be courageous.
