Earlier this week, US President Barack Obama honoured two Kenyan women as champions of change. The two Dr. Christine Martey-Ochola and Dr. Wanjiru Kamau-Rutenberg have done tremendous work in inspiring young people to be courageous enough to dream of a better future.
Dr. Josephine Ojiambo – The Diplomat

She became part of the apprentice and made many of us Kenyans watch the show and competition that leads to the winner being hired. Whereas Kenyans are known for marathon running, Lisa would showcase that Kenyans also have the business mind. Out of 16 starters Liza would finish third. We met Lisa as she attended the Kenya Diaspora Conference in Washington D.C where she is enjoying meeting Kenyans. We Kenyans on the other hand were happy to meet our star from apprentice show and did not tell her the words, “You are fired.” ...
