The Forgotten MAU MAU Field Marshal, Musa Mwariama

The Mau Mau rebellion force would be led by three notable men during the late 40’s, 50’s through the 60’s. Two would be captured and imprisoned. One man leading his battalion of over 2000 men would never be captured. He would come out of the forest undefeated. Very few people know about Field Marshall Musa Mwariama who shared the same title with Field Marshall Dedan Kimathi. Field Marshal Mwariama is arguably the greatest Mau Mau fighter for he was never caught. There is no record of his demise and would be 84 years old today. We in Jamhuri honor and salute him for his courageous acts that brought about Kenya freedom....
