Churchill names the 2 People who have created Sugar Problem in Kenya
Two people have created the sugar problem in Kenya. “Do I name them or do I not,” asked Churchill as he did his comedy in CCF church that hosted a fundraiser for the Kenyatta Foundation in the City of Lowell. The Foundation had been launched in Worcester a day earlier and the delegation was in Lowell to do an event organized by the CCF church. Churchill, a famous comedian in Kenya, was the headliner of the event. With the price of sugar at around Kshs 200 today and relatives in Kenya complaining about sugar everyone was ready to hear which two people who had messed up the sugar were.
“Ni waseme au siwaseme? – Do I name them or do I not?” Churchill animated with zeal asked the brave crowd that was not afraid of Hurricane Irene. Hurricane Irene had passed by Massachusetts the previous night and early morning and kept many indoors and, therefore, many did not attend the event to see Churchill. In his jocular way Churchill said “If this was in Kenya men would have asked, ‘Irene Who? You are saying we fear a woman!’” Meaning many Kenyan men in Kenya would have dismissed the powerful hurricane that was tearing trees on its path as it filled the earth with rain and powerful winds because of being named after a woman.
For Kenyans who had braved the Hurricane Irene, it was laughter as Churchill presented his jokes. “I’m in the U.S and I can name the two people who have messed up the sugar in Kenya!” he shouted with defiance. "The crowd roared back, Name them!" And Churchill went on with his act, “I’m not going to be afraid. I will name them today. Right now! Right here” And Churchill named the two people.
Catch up with Churchill next time he is around to find out who messed the Sugar in Kenya, or find a person who was brave enough “I will not fear the lady Hurricane Irene!” and was in the event to give you the answer that Sugarmummy and Sugardaddy are the two people who have messed up the sugar in Kenya according to churchill.
