KCB, Vincent Aberi, Visits With KUP Founders Prof. Njoroge & Prof. Gerstenfeld

Vincent Aberi, Head of Diaspora Banking at KCB Bank visited with Professor Raphael Njoroge & Professor Arthur Gerstenfeld of WPI the founders of Kenya University Project, KUP. Vincent Aberi of KCB was introduced on how a bank can work with the KUP so the institution can become a reality.

The project traces its origin based on the work of the two professors that includes the co-authoring of two books, Education: A focus on Africa and United States published 2004 and Africa: The Next Decade published 2005. 

The Kenya University Project is conceptualized to lead to a development of institution and settlement. Kenyans in Diaspora and in Kenya have been continuously been invited to explore the project by Prof. Njoroge in the past few years as the project has been tailored.  

Vincent of KCB on his part said that the Bank has the finances and through the bank products can avail the finances to Diaspora Kenyans who are part of the project.  

Professor Njoroge who was happy to hear that Vincent, the banker could understand some of the set systems that will lead to bank offering trust services and others lead to supporters investing into the project based on set plans and systems.
