Registered Nurses, RN's Mary, Susan and Alex of California; and Milka of Atlanta are in Las Vegas working on the Medical Hospital Plan that will be implemented in the Diaspora University Town. Mary, who has been working on the plan for over two years, says, “Once the hospital grows from a clinic to a full hospital, no Kenyan will have to travel abroad to get medical treatment. We shall have a hospital that meets medical needs for Kenyans.” Their goal is to recruit Kenyans who shall become Town House property developers.

The RN’s are part of a team of Diaspora healthcare professionals that include: Medical Doctors, Scientists in the field of Biotechnology Pharmaceuticals, therapists and diverse healthcare professional spread across the U.S who have been writing the Medical Hospital Plans to be implemented as the from a clinic open to an estimated 500 bed hospital achieved.

Milka who loves to be part of the project, says, “This will be the greatest gift that the Diaspora will give Kenya alongside a University. The Kenyans will appreciate the effort they did when they contributed to send Diaspora to search for education.” She adds, “You may work in a hospital for many years, but when you start visualizing been part of building and developing the hospital you feel more excited.”

Alex, who recently joined the project is excited to be part of a vision that can create a hospital just like the one he works in. He says, “This is a great project!”
