Attorney Kamau, Rose & Dan Work on KUP-Property Developer System

The Kenya University Project (KUP) – Property Developer system is an innovative system created through a Town House Investment and Development Agreement (THIDA). The system makes Diaspora Kenyans and Kenyans in Kenyans Property Developers through an Integrated Sustainable System of jobs/business creation, housing development and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth.

Attorney Njoroge Kamau, Rose Ndiritu and Dan Kamau who lived in the Diaspora as the U.S Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew from about $6 trillion in the 1990’s to the current $18 trillion understand that Kenya needs to grow its GDP through jobs/business creation and housing development. The current projection is the Kenya GDP estimated at about $80 billion (2017) is in the growth path and will grow faster in the next 5 years.  

The law firm of Attorney Kamau has registered more than 600 Diaspora Kenyans who are interested in using the KUP system as they become property developers. He has given the files to Rose Ndiritu who is setting up the Property Developer Registry for the Diaspora University Town. The Attorney said he is happy that more and more Diaspora Kenyans are embracing the idea of becoming property developers through the KUP-System, so they can create jobs and housing.  

Rose, who during her years in the Diaspora, saved to buy plots says putting one’s money to become a Property Developer is better than becoming a plot buyer. Having stayed in Kenya for the last 3 years, she says it is very hard to develop a property when you do not know what the other plot owner will develop when there is no plan. She says getting a loan to develop a house in a plot can also be very hard. She says the Diaspora should take advantage of this opportunity that makes one a Property developer in a planned Town that will achieve maximum security. 

Rose in progressing the establishment of the Diaspora University Town – Property Developer Registry has established the KCB Bank Gigiri branch close to the U.S Embassy as the Bank to work with. The land title is held by the bank.

Dan will be opening the Diaspora University Town Development offices in Voi. He is tasked with progressing the requirements as per the approved Institution Town Development Plan by the County Assembly and per other legislated laws, so the site ground-break can happen the soonest possible.

U.S Business persons who are in the Kenya looking to advance renewable energy solutions are also considering the project. One of the nine primary resources, was an Energy plan that was inspired by the Power Africa initiative 2013. Diaspora University Town developers had started talks with OPIC with consideration of OPIC financial offer.
