A town settlement quality of life cannot be complete without a waste management system. As Diaspora University Town development plan in Taita Taveta progresses; a waste to energy application that turns waste to energy and gas is being considered. James Anderson, of Global Green Link Energy visited Taita Taveta, the site of Diaspora University Town and toured the County waste site as he explored the application of the Pyrolator System.

He looks to have the Waste to Energy plan incorporated with the current waste in the different parts of the County. This will enable the planning of Diaspora University Town have a disposal of waste to create clean energy.

The application of the waste-to-energy Pyrolator System, a high-temperature system in biomass conversion technology, will generate power as tons of waste is fed to the system.

The Pyrolator System will improve the quality of life, advance health outcomes, increase economic opportunity and reduce Greenhouse Gas emissions.
