Diaspora University Town Design-Build Plan U.S Tour

Diaspora University Town – Design Build plan is an ongoing plan of designing and building of a town to settle the Kenya increasing population. By 2030 Kenya population will reach 60 million an increase of about 12 million. Diaspora University Town – Design Build Plan implemented by Concept Construction (Co) Limited will settle 90,000 persons. The CEO, Ernest Mungai Kamau tour to the U.S and U.K will advance Design Build jobs, Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) for material production and Property Developer opportunities.
The jobs include: Engineering, Architectural, Builders, Electricians, Plumbers, landscapers and other jobs. The plan is expected to create about 4,000 jobs by 2022 as 2 million square meters of built space and about 150 km of road and infrastructure network are designed and progressively built. 10% or about 400 jobs will be offered to Diaspora willing to bring back their expertise to Kenya.
The Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) will supply building materials for the roads and buildings construction. Diaspora can open SMEs for materials production to supply the project and other projects. Current projections are building materials supply could surpass Kshs 1 trillion in the next 10 years.
The Property Developer opportunity is for planned Town Houses development using the Diaspora University – Property Developer system.
The Design-Build plan is set up to provide rights of housing, clean water, education, clean and healthy environment to about 30,000 residents and 10,000 university students. Diaspora who shall be part of the plan through jobs or SMEs will be advance these constitutional rights as more towns are built.
