300 Kenyans in Kenya asked if they would welcome party started by Kenyans abroad, 292 out 300 respondents said, "Yes." Asked whether they would support the party, 291 of the 300 respondents said, "Yes." Asked whether they would become members of the party, 290 of the 300 respondents said, "Yes." A sample of those who answered “Yes” further made the additional comments in reference to Kenyans abroad starting party: Yes, they come with new innovations. Yes, they will help rid our country of corruption. Yes, it will put an end to recycling of old ideas which do not work. Yes, they live in a developed world and have acquired new ways of doing things which add value and benefit the majority instead of self. Yes, a new way of thinking might bring the change we so badly need. Yes, though it may take time, we are safer with them since they really understand how to make an economy grow as they live in developed ones.

A sample of the 10 people who answered No gave their reasons as: No, they do not understand our Problems. No, they can overturn the government to be worse than it is as they do not understand how African Governments are run. No, the party will only benefit them. No, they don’t understand our Problems. No, they can never change Kenya, only Kenyans living in Kenya can, since they understand practically what happens to the poor man and how he lives. No, because there is a lot of uneven distribution of resources in Kenya, it would take a miracle to change that. No, as the saying goes, to catch a thief, one has to be a thief, and only a Kenyan who understands Kenyans problems can do something about it. And the one who welcomes and supports but would not become member of party saying, “No, I will have to see what the party can do first.”

Whereas the survey is not based on a scientific process and was based on two counties, Kiambu and Nairobi it however shows that the appeal of a party initiated by the Kenyans abroad is very high.  Based on the initiative offered by Dr. Endege and team to anchor a party started through the Diaspora that would have thousands in the Diaspora joining up with Kenyans in Kenya to field about 500 Kenyans from the Diaspora and 1,000 Kenyans in Kenya through a party with an economic platform capable of growing the economy from the current estimated Kshs 5 trillion to Kshs 10 trillion in 5 years, and by doing so create 5 million new well paying jobs.  One thing that Kenyans in Kenya can be certain of is that when the Kenyans in Diaspora actively engage in and participate in the debate on how to build a better country that rewards hard work and honesty, Kenya will change to strong economic systems and corruption will decrease significantly and this will make Kenya a better place to invest and do business.
